Ellen Sinopoli Company’s 20th anniversary

The Capital Region’s own Ellen Sinopoli celebrates her company’s 20th anniversary season with a program at The Egg features new and revived works.  The two premieres – “To Sing, Laugh, Play” (to music of John Adams) and “Sea Ghosts” (to music of William Harper, with projections by Calvin Grimm) – were created just last month during a residence at the Kaatsbaan International Dance Center in Tivoli.  Also on the program are “Oh My…” (music from “Appalachia Waltz”), Falling (music by guitarist Maria Zemantauski and percussionist Brian Melick), and “Rising Low” (music by Otis Taylor and Iris DeMent).
